Challenge: How can we make vertical farms more sustainable?

Research topics / questions:

• how can we lower the initial investment in a v.f.
• how can we reduce the electricity consumption in a v.f.
• how can we use renewable energy for a v.f.
• how can we lower the opex (operational expenses) for a v.f.
• how can we use AI / machine learning to make a v.f. more efficient?
• how can we use robotics to make a v.f. more efficient?
